Melody has an incredibly sweet disposition. She loves attention and really likes kids. Melody is an extremely handy filly who will make a great performance horse. She is very well balanced with nice substance and a very good mind. She'd do well in endurance, English, reining, gymkhana or as a trail horse. More importantly she'd be an exceptional family horse with her great disposition. We plan to start her under saddle as time and weather permits.
Melody would be an asset to anyone seeking a sweet, kind, people oriented mare for riding or breeding. She would make a very nice addition to the broodmare band in the future for either a CMK preservation program or a performance oriented program. She is only for sale due to the fact that we are retaining her full sister and, unfortunately, we can't keep them all.
Melody is sired by our stallion, MV Soaring Wind, who has multiple crosses to Abu Farwa, which is proven to be top performance breeding. His sire, Nehalems Muhuli was a successful stakes winning race horse. Her paternal granddam, FV Auluari, was sired by Aulrab.
Her dam, Danajih Anne is a daughter of Najih, a Class A liberty winner and sire of the 2000 Tevis winner. Najih is sired by the great Ben Rabba (by Aurab) who was leased to stand at stud in England. Melody also has a line to Nat. Champion, Benraz (by Ben Rabba). Melody brings in a Polish outcross to her CMK pedigree via Danshab, a Gdansk son. Gdansk is a son of the US National Champion Stallion Bask, and out of the imported Polish mare *Gdynia.
